Another Mission Gone Wrong

For Kink/Cliche Challenge. My prompt was Huddling for warmth/the sexual joys of hypothermia. There's no joy here, but after they get rescued by Teyla and Ronon (again), the 'omg-we're-not-dead' sex will ensue (again).

This is very good. I really like the atmosphere you've created, it's soft and peaceful, even though they're in 'dire' circumstances.

The colours are good - my fav combination: red, balck and white. The blood really stands out in a not too obvious way. The smudge on Rodney's cheek is a good addition.

I also really like the way their heads and bodies fade into the background. And for some odd reason, I really really like the jagged edge of Rodney's shirt.

For me? It's Rodney's strong capable left hand pulling John down onto his own chest, to both give comfort and to reassure himself. And they look almost peaceful, but more resigned to their fate. (Little do they know they're about to be picked up by a toasty jumper with hot toddies and blankets for all!).
